Moffitt Cancer Center Partners with Don Shula on Tampa Restaurant Re-opening

WHO:             Moffitt Cancer Center, the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center based in Florida, will co-host an event in conjunction with Don Shula, to celebrate the kick off of the re-imagined “No Name Lounge” at Shula’s Steak House at the Intercontinental Hotel in Tampa. 

WHAT:          The event will be hosted by HSN President Bill Brand, Moffitt’s Founder H. Lee Moffitt and wife Dianne, Moffitt’s President & CEO Dr. Alan List, Gerdau EVP Dr. Peter Campo and wife Julie, and ESPN Monday Night Football Analyst Jon Gruden and wife Cindy, who sits on Moffitt’s Foundation Board of Directors. Coach Don Shula will also be in attendance. 

At the event, a luxury auction will take place benefiting The Shula Fund at Moffitt Cancer Center, a foundation that supports cutting-edge research projects that will generate new treatment and prevention strategies for breast cancer patients in Florida and beyond.

Since the inception of The Shula Fund, $2.3 million has been raised for breast cancer research.
