Moffitt Cancer Center Teams Up with Local Sports Teams for Mascots at Moffitt Day

WHO: Moffitt Cancer Center, the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center based in Florida.

WHAT: Moffitt is hosting its second annual Mascots at Moffitt Day. Mascots from Tampa’s major sports teams are invited to the cancer center to show their support for Moffitt’s patients and that we are all one team in the fight against cancer. The mascots participating this year include Tampa Bay Rays’ Raymond, Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Captain Fear, University of South Florida’s Rocky D. Bull and Tampa Bay Lightning’s Thunder Bug.
