WHO:            Moffitt Cancer Center, the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center based in Florida, will hold a grand opening reception of the Gruden Huddle Room at the new, state-of-the-art Moffitt McKinley Outpatient Center.

WHAT:          The Gruden Huddle Room will honor Jon and Cindy Gruden for their extraordinary generosity and dedication to Moffitt, our patients and the families we proudly serve. The Gruden Huddle Room will be used primarily for Tumor Boards (having a multispecialty tumor board in place for each of Moffitt’s programs is one thing that makes our approach to cancer treatment so effective) and patient orientation and serves to inspire and encourage countless patients and family members, physicians and researchers, and recognizes the courage they demonstrate each and every day in their fight against cancer. Additionally the Gruden’s gift will support Moffitt’s world renowned clinical application of immunotherapy pioneered by Dr. James Mule, which uses the patient's own immune system to fight their cancer.

WHEN:        Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, 1 p.m.

WHERE:      Moffitt McKinley Outpatient Center, 10920 N. McKinley Drive, Tampa, FL
