WHAT: Moffitt Cancer Center President & CEODr. Alan F. List and Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Adam H. Putnam will announce a new partnership aimed at healthy living solutions during a news conference on Tuesday, Feb. 17. The announcement is part of the 10th-annualMoffitt Day at the State Capitol.
Moffitt Day brings more than 80 volunteers, including patients, caregivers, physicians and researchersto the State Capitol in support of Moffitt. Advocates meet with lawmakers and share Moffitt’s mission to eradicate cancer and ask for continued state support for the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center based in Florida. The day will kick off when 24 Cure on Wheelscyclists complete their four-day cancer-awareness ride at the steps of the historic Capitol.
