Prelude to a Cure to Benefit Lung Cancer Research at Moffitt Cancer Center

WHO: Prelude to a Cure, an ensemble of medicine and music to raise funds for lung cancer, is the vision of Dr. Lary Robinson and Dr. Scott Antonia of Moffitt Cancer Center. Moffitt is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center based in Florida.

WHAT: Prelude to a Cure is dedicated to raising awareness of and support for a lung cancer cure. Join us for an evening with The Florida Orchestra, featuring The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay, performing Mozart’s “Requiem.” Xian Zhang, music director of Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi, makes her conducting debut in Mozart’s sublime and inspiring “Requiem,” “Ave Verum Corpus” and “Symphony No. 35, Haffner.”
