WHO: Moffitt Cancer Center, the only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center based in Florida, will be relocating its Moffitt South operations to International Plaza on July 1. Services offered will include medical oncology, infusion services, radiation therapy and radiology. Moffitt expects to see 200 patients per day at the new facility.
More than 200 construction jobs have been created for this project. Man hours worked through Dec. 31 total 12,579. Moffitt will initially create 55 medical professional jobs with an average salary of $90,000 for this facility. New physicians will be recruited.
WHAT: Hard-hat tours will be available to showcase Moffitt Cancer Center at International Plaza. Please wear close-toed shoes and low heels to tour inside the building.
