Tampa Bay’s Dancing with the Stars to Benefit Charities Including Moffitt Cancer Center

WHAT:           Tampa Bay’sDancing with the Stars 2010

Support three worthwhile Bay area charities while cheering on local celebrities at Tampa Bay’s Dancing with the Stars, hosted by Julie Weintraub’s Hands Across the Bay. Guests will enjoy food and cocktails, auctions, and entertainment by Fred Astaire Dance Studios Tampa Bay. The main event will feature 12 local celebrities paired with professional dance instructors taking to the floor with a dance of their choice. Attendees will have a chance to cast votes for their favorites – but even if you can’t attend, you can have a say in who takes home the crown! Votes can be purchased online at www.dancingforcharity.com. Online and attendee votes will be combined with judges’ scores that evening to determine the winner.

Funds raised will benefit Moffitt, Pepin Heart Hospital and the Kids Charity of Tampa Bay. Last year’s event raised more than $300,000.
