WHO: Moffitt Cancer Center, the only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center based in Florida, invites you to the 2010 Florida Bank Miles for Moffitt and Florida Bank Ultra Miles for Moffitt races to support cancer research. Teams are forming now.
WHAT: Florida Bank Miles for Moffitt: 1-mile, 5K, 5-mile, kids dash; Moffitt and the USF College of Health will host a health expo, including free skin cancer screenings, post-race massages and food; Gerdau Ameristeel Survivor Tribute ceremony; awards for first, second and third will be given in five-year age categories
WHEN: May 15, 2010; 5-mile race starts at 7:30 a.m., 5K at 8 a.m., 1-mile fun run at 8:30 a.m.; kids dash at 9:15 a.m.; late registration begins at 6 a.m. May 15, but participants registering on race morning will NOT be timed
WHERE: USF Sun Dome parking area
WHAT: Florida Bank Ultra Miles for Moffitt: 12-hour endurance run; electronic lap-counting will be available on the track; aid station will include food, water and Hammer Nutrition High Energy Electrolyte Drink
WHEN: 7 p.m. May 8 to 7 a.m. May 9
WHERE: University of South Florida track
