Moffitt Cancer Center Launches

Tampa, FL– Moffitt Cancer Center has launched, a new Web portal focused on patients, families and the general public. This site was designed to complement and link to the information found on Moffitt’s corporate Web site,

“Moffitt knows the Internet is a great resource for patients and families during the decision-making process,” said Melissa Mackey, director of marketing and strategic communication at Moffitt. “ will make it easier for the community to find the answers they need, 24 hours a day.”

With the launch of and a focus on an interactive patient experience, patients and the community can now:

  • View cancer patient testimonials
  • Listen to physician pod casts
  • Take cancer-related polls

Additional features include:

  • Cancer Answers Question and Answer section from registered nurses
  • Videos from Moffitt’s news program, “Headline MCC”
  • Information about Total Cancer Care, Moffitt’s unique, comprehensive approach to cancer, focused on the individual and their genetic makeup
