Tampa, FL – The Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation will hostFall for the Cause, a women’s cancer awareness luncheon,at The Port Royal Club, 2900 Gordon Drive in Naples, at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 4. The luncheon will feature leading Moffitt Cancer Center experts in breast, ovarian, uterine and cervical cancers: Johnathan M. Lancaster, M.D., Ph.D., director of the Center for Women’s Oncology at Moffitt and chair of its Department of Women’s Oncology; Robert M. Wenham, M.D., M.S., F.A.C.O.G., clinical director of Moffitt’s Gynecologic Oncology Program; and Susan E. Minton, D.O., associate professor in the Don and Erika Wallace Comprehensive Breast Program.
“Fall for the Cause is an exceptional opportunity to learn about the progress in preventing and treating women’s cancers,” co-chairwoman Kimberley Speer Miller said. “Every woman needs to equip herself with this potentially life-saving information and to learn more about Moffitt Cancer Center’s remarkable research and patient care.”
Fall for the Cause tickets cost $100 and patron tickets are $200, said co-chairwomen Donna Moore and Stephanie Pezeshkan. Sponsorships are available starting at $1,000 as a table host and $2,500 as a Gold Sponsor. Proceeds from the event will benefit Moffitt Cancer Center research.
