Race numbers will be available at early packet pick up on Friday, June 15, noon to 7 p.m., at the Embassy Suites on Fowler Ave. or at the registration tent on race day, 6 to 6:45 a.m. Due to the early start time, registrants are encouraged to pick up their race numbers on Friday. Entry fees from the May 12 race will be applied to the June 16 event and are not applicable thereafter.
“We have received an overwhelmingly positive response to this unforeseen need to re-schedule the event,” said Karen Dalton, chairman of SunTrust Miles for Moffitt.
About 1,800 people pre-registered for the May 12 event. The race committee expects most will participate on June 16 with additional new registrants expected. “We are hearing from our sponsors, our USF partner, participants, employees and volunteers that they are enthusiastic about participating on the new date,” said Dalton.
