Tampa, FL – H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute announces three key promotions.
The new role of Deputy Physician-In-Chief will be assumed by Dr. Alan List. List is a professor of Oncology and Medicine and chief of the Malignant Hematology division in Moffitt’s Interdisciplinary Oncology department. List is internationally recognized for his work in the investigation of the biology and treatment of myelodysplastic syndromes and acute myeloid leukemia.
Thomas Sellers, Ph.D., has been appointed director of the Moffitt Research Institute (MRI), in addition to executive vice president and associate center director for Cancer Prevention & Control. In his role as MRI director, Sellers will continue the academic development of the research institute.
Dean Head was named vice president of Facilities Management and Construction. Head has been at Moffitt for more than 20 years and has served in several capacities. In his new role, Head will oversee facilities maintenance, construction, asset management, environmental services, security and food services. He will play a critical role in the current campus expansion.
