Charity for women hosts a fundraiser for Moffitt’s Factors Program

TAMPA, Fla. -Charity for Women is hosting Think Pink, a breast cancer fundraiser, silent auction and wine tasting July 18 from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Cork & Olive, 13998 W. Hillsborough Rd., Tampa. The event’s proceeds will benefit FACTors, Moffitt’s breast cancer education, information and support program. A donation of $25 is recommended. For more information contact (727) 667-3167.

Charity for Women is local non-profit company that raises money to support educational programs for women that teach early detection of breast cancer. Funds are raised thorough three primary sources: contributions, corporate sponsorships and fashion shows.

In 2001, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute earned NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center status in recognition of its excellence in research and contributions to clinical trials, prevention and cancer control.
