Sarasota deputy, father of four, diagnosed with cancer

The 16-year veteran of the Sheriff’s Office was admitted to Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa on Thursday for three weeks of treatment. His wife, Jennifer Scott, and his mother-in-law are caring for his children, Trevor, Brianna, Madison and Brooklyn, who are between the ages of 5 and 17, in Sarasota.
