Lenalidomide Could Improve Survival, Reduce Progression in 5q-Deletion MDS

Lenalidomide (Revlimid) has provided evidence of potential to improve survival and reduce the leukemic progression in patients with 5q-deletion (del[5q]) myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), according to a review of the evidence by Alan List, MD, CEO of Moffitt Cancer Center, during a keynote address at the 2016 Society of Hematologic Oncology annual meeting.
