At Moffitt Cancer Center, our Volunteer Services team offers opportunities to improve the experience of patients, team members, and visitors alike. Whether it’s providing emotional support through our pet therapy program, helping visitors navigate the hospital, transporting patients or assisting with patient flow in one of our clinics, we can help you find a volunteer opportunity that matches your interests.

Why Volunteer at Moffitt Cancer Center?

In order to provide the best service to our patients, families and staff, we need dependable and compassionate volunteers. Moffitt volunteers are all ages and from all walks of life. Many have been touched in some way by cancer and have joined our team to simply "give back" or to help make a difference in the lives of others. No matter the area you serve in as a volunteer, you are contributing to Moffitt’s mission "to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer."

Our volunteer locations:

• Moffitt Cancer Center - Magnolia campus
• Moffitt at International Plaza (South Tampa) 
• Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation Outpatient Center at McKinley Campus
• Port Tampa Bay - The port has graciously donated space at Terminal 2 to Moffitt for community outreach, education and future screening events. Initial buildout and programming were made possible by the Tampa Bay Lightning Community Heroes Foundation. We are looking for volunteers to help with outreach and pass out materials (like sunscreen and pamphlets) to cruise ship goers, promoting Moffitt and ways to prevent cancer.
