Endoscopic Oncology Program

Moffitt Cancer Center’s Endoscopic Oncology Program takes a unique, collaborative approach to diagnosing and treating cancers of the gastrointestinal tract. This program strives to detect abnormalities as early as possible and address them with a variety of minimally invasive methods.

Your Treatment Team:

Our team has extensive experience and fellowship training in several different disciplines, allowing us to expertly design – and deliver – endoscopic oncology plans that are individualized to each patient’s needs.


• Precancerous tissue and tumor ablation therapies for Barrett’s esophagus and early esophageal cancers 
• Cryoablation
• Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
• Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR)

• Removal of large polyps from the colon
• Cellvizio® optical biopsy

How to Refer:

Physicians can refer an individual to our team for a routine colonoscopy or other general screening procedure at any time. To refer a patient to Moffitt’s Endoscopic Oncology Program, physicians can complete our online form or contact a physician liaison for assistance or support.
