We specialize in the evaluation and treatment of patients with cancers and pre-cancerous lesions of women’s reproductive organs. Diseases and tumors treated:
- Ovary and fallopian
- Cervix
- Endometrial (uterine)
- Vulva
- Vagina
- Gynecologic sarcomas
- Germ cell tumors
- Gestational trophoblastic disease
- Pre-invasive diseases of the cervix, vulva and vagina
- A suspected diagnosis of any of the above conditions
- Metastatic disease from any of the above conditions
- Elevated tumor markers that warrant further diagnostic testing
- Patients with multiple risk factors, including a personal or family history of gynecological cancer, that warrant risk counseling and screening services
The following conditions are not seen at Moffitt:
- Abnormal Pap smear (i.e., LGSIL)
- Endometriosis
- HPV
- Pelvic pain
- Polycystic ovarian syndrome
