The Sunflower Award is presented to an outstanding Medical Assistant and/ or an Oncology Technician
This person’s skills and care exemplify the kind of employee that is recognized as an outstanding role model. Additionally, the Sunflower Award winner must:

Patients, visitors, and family members may nominate a deserving Medical Assistant and/ or an Oncology Technician by completing this form and placing in the Award Ballot Box.
Medical Assistants help with screening, gathering vital signs and medical history of patient. They assist providers with procedures, treatments and examinations. They may also help with access to wheelchairs or getting on/off the exam table.
Oncology Technicians work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to patients and maintain a safe and clean environment.
