Diversity, equity and inclusion are founding values at Moffitt Cancer Center. The offices of Graduate Medical Education and Research Education and Training recognize that a diverse and inclusive environment is vital for scientific discovery and clinical study. As the only NCI-Comprehensive Cancer Center based in the state of Florida, we are also committed to studying and alleviating racial disparities in health care. To ensure that scientific advancements address the needs of those in the communities we serve, the Office of Community Outreach, Engagement, and Equity (COEE) brings together trainees, providers, researchers and community partners.

At Moffitt Cancer Center, faculty and trainees come from across the country and across the globe with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences. Maintaining a diverse faculty and trainee group encourages the exchange of ideas and differing points of view which leads to further research that can be translated to clinical care. This allows us to better serve the community that we live in and make an impact nationally and globally, promoting health equity while becoming more well-rounded researchers and physicians.

At Moffitt you will work alongside leaders in the field of cancer treatment, participating in cutting-edge research in state-of-the-art facilities. Our collaborative approach allows you to be mentored by some of the brightest, most dedicated physicians and researchers in the country. You will also have the opportunity to teach and mentor the next generation of cancer researchers and physicians.
