The PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Moffitt Cancer Center is a 12-month commitment running from approximately July 1 through June 30 each year. The resident must provide a minimum of 2,080 hours of service during the 12-month term as determined by the Department of Pharmacy and Residency Advisory Committee. Resident schedules will comply with the current duty standards of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

Service

The PGY1 resident will participate in central pharmacy staffing as part of the service requirement for certificate completion.

Planned Staffing Model:

  • Weekend: every third weekend (day shift)
  • Weeknight: every third week (evening shift)
  • Holiday: one major and one minor holiday (day shift)
