Janelle is a Moffitt Team Member, caring daughter, breast cancer survivor, loving aunt, and Miles for Moffitt Team Captain. When diagnosed, Janelle found herself intimidated, but her niece Isabella gave her courage and inspired her to persevere and make a difference. Her difference? The “Cancer Crushers.”

As an employee, Janelle was familiar with Miles for Moffitt and decided to start her own team. Janelle finished treatment a week prior to participating in her first Miles for Moffitt run. Every year since, the Cancer Crushers have grown. Janelle hopes the innovative research the Cancer Crushers support, with every footstep will prolong and save many more lives, so other patients and survivors can experience and enjoy more time with their loved ones — just like her and Isabella.
