Sexual Health in Adolescent and Young Adult Patients after Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-Cell Therapy
Summary
The purpose of the study is to examine sexual health among young adult cancer survivors aged 18-39 years after chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy. Investigators will also examine how health care providers communicate with patients about issues with their sexual health.
Objective
Our specific aims are to:
Aim 1. Examine sexual health (i.e., sexual activity, dysfunction, and satisfaction) after CAR T-cell therapy among AYA cancer patients.
Aim 2. Explore relationships between sexual health and other domains of HRQOL after CAR T-cell therapy among AYA cancer patients.
Aim 3. Explore communication about sexual health between AYA recipients of CAR T-cell therapy and their healthcare providers.
