Summary
The purpose of this study is to examine barriers and facilitators to positive health
behaviors and determine whether nutritional consultation improves healthy eating
knowledge and self-efficacy among patients with a new breast cancer diagnosis who
are treatment naive.
Objective
The purpose of this study is to examine barriers and facilitators to positive health behaviors and determine whether a one-time nutritional consultation improves healthy eating knowledge and self-efficacy in patients after breast cancer diagnosis
Specific Aim 1: Examine barriers and facilitators to healthy eating, physical activity, and self-care in patients after breast cancer diagnosis
Specific Aim 2: Determine whether a one-time nutritional consultation improves healthy eating habits, knowledge, and self-efficacy in patients after breast cancer diagnosis compared to a control group.
