Study Title

Project ACTS (Adherence to CT Screening): Development and Usability of Patient Engagement Tools to Support Lung Cancer Screening Adherence

The overall goal of project ACTS is to develop a tool kit that will make it easier for people being screened for lung cancer to get their annual and follow up screening.

The overall goal of Project ACTS is to develop and evaluate a patient engagement toolkit created with input from clinicians and patients to support increased adherence to lung cancer screening in high-risk individuals. To fulfill this goal: Aim 1 of Project ACTS will conduct a needs assessment with screening program participants and screening program leaders/directors and implementation staff to identify barriers and approaches to patient engagement and program retention. (Phase I) Aim 2 of Project ACTS will create a patient engagement toolkit with the input obtained from Phase 1, and conduct usability testing with screening center participants and screening program leaders/directors and implementation staff. (Phase II)
