A Phase 2 Study of Transarterial Chemoperfusion Treatment with Cisplatin, Methotrexate and Gemcitabine in Patients with Unresectable Pleural Mesothelioma
The purpose of this study is to determine whether the transarterial chemoperfusion treatment with cisplatin, methotrexate and gemcitabine is safe and effective in adults with malignant pleural mesothelioma.
Primary Objective: To determine the objective response rate of transarterial chemoperfusion treatment with cisplatin, methotrexate and gemcitabine in patients with unresectable malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM). Secondary Objectives: To assess overall survival, progression free survival, severity and frequency of adverse events and quality of life in patients with MPM treated with transarterial chemoperfusion with cisplatin, methotrexate and gemcitabine.
