Study Title

Total Lung Care (TLC): Epidemiology of Lung Cancer

Summary

The purpose of this study is to recruit patients who visit the Thoracic Oncology Clinic at the Moffitt Cancer Center using a detailed thoracic-specific questionnaire and blood samples that will be used to assess factors that influence lung cancer risk, outcomes, and survival.

Objective

To develop and implement a functional epidemiology research infrastructure that will prospectively recruit patients with accompanying lung cancer questionnaires.

Inclusion Criteria

18 years of age or older

English-speaking (or someone who can translate for the patient) lung cancer patients

All patients will be recruited from the Thoracic Oncology clinic at Moffitt.

There will be no restrictions by age (other than 18 years or older), gender, ethnicity, race, stage, or histology.
