SPARK internships are open to undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing careers in biomedical science (college graduates are not eligible). Selection is based on demonstrated interest in research through prior experience, a written essay and academic performance, along with recommendations from teachers or faculty members.
Unfortunately, the SPARK program is not able to fund housing for out-of area interns. Candidates must make their own living arrangements and provide a local address at the time of admission. This address can be different than the corresponding (school) and permanent (home) addresses.
