Moffitt Proud Partner of Tampa Bay Lightning
Moffitt Cancer Center is a proud partner of the Tampa Bay Lightning! Throughout hockey season, Moffitt and the Tampa Bay Lightning team up for community events aimed at raising awareness for cancer.
Those interested in supporting cancer research at Moffitt can contribute through the Lightning’s 50/50 game day raffles. Look for the 50/50 raffle kiosks throughout the Amalie Arena during Lightning home games to purchase a ticket. A portion of the proceeds from the 50/50 raffles benefits the Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation.
Hockey Fights Cancer
The Lightning is committed to cancer awareness all season long. Each fall, the team hosts Hockey Fights Cancer night, an NHL initiative aimed at raising awareness for all cancers. Moffitt team members and cancer survivors are honored throughout the night during this special event.
Take to the ice at the Amalie Arena for the 2018 Skate-A-Thon, presented by Moffitt Cancer Center and the Tampa Bay Lightning. On Sunday, Feb. 25, join your favorite Lightning alumni, the Lightning Girls, and ThunderBug for an event that is fun for all ages! Register today at TampaBayLightning.com/MoffittSkate and get ready to skate for a cause!
