Mariana Bugallo-MurosVice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
As Moffitt Cancer Center’s Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, Mariana Bugallo-Muros oversees a diverse workforce of more than 5,800 team members on Moffitt’s four campuses. She is responsible for leading all facets of Moffitt’s human capital, including: compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations, performance management, talent acquisition and management, and organizational and leadership development, all of which enable Moffitt to recruit, train, develop, reward and retain a high performing and motivated workforce.
Prior to joining Moffitt, Bugallo-Muros spent 18 years in corporate human resources leadership positions with Partners HealthCare in Boston, a $15 billion academic integrated delivery system with over 60,000 employees at locations including Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. As a Partners vice president, Bugallo-Muros drove efforts to bind that organization’s culture and raise its performance, as well as leading innovative talent acquisition initiatives.
Bugallo-Muros holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from Emmanuel College in Boston and a Master of Science degree in Management from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
