W. Michael Alberts, M.D., MBA, is Professor of Oncology and Medicine in the Department of Oncologic Sciences at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Fla. He is Vice President of Medical Affairs at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute.
Dr. Alberts received his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Illinois. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Ohio State University and a fellowship program in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of California at San Diego. Dr. Alberts earned an MBA degree from the University of South Florida. Dr. Alberts' research and scholarly interests include the diagnosis and management of lung cancer, occupational airways disorders and the business of medicine.
