Brenda Gordon R.N., M.S.N., is Vice President of Clinic and Ancillary Services at Moffitt. She previously was Director of Program Development at the Oncology Management Consulting Group in Pipersville, Penn.
Ms. Gordon has many years of experience overseeing oncology-related services including research, radiation therapy, oncology inpatient units, support services, women’s diagnostic centers, and outpatient infusion and chemotherapy.
She has served in administrative positions for cancer programs at Jupiter (Fla.) Medical Center; Baptist Hospital East in Louisville, Ky.; St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa; and Lakeland Regional Medical Center. In addition, she was a Patient Care Consultant at Schering Oncology-Biotech in Newark, N.J. Ms. Gordon was one of the “original” Moffitt employees, starting one year prior to Moffitt’s grand opening and held managerial positions in the Nursing Division.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at the University of Florida and her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of South Florida. She is an Oncology Certified Nurse.
Ms. Gordon has served as a Board Member for the Association of Community Cancer Centers and was the organization’s treasurer. She also is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society, Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society, and she has served as a board member and volunteer with the American Cancer Society.
