Moffitt Day 2014
Patients, caregivers, health care professionals and all those with a stake in the battle against cancer will participate in Moffitt Day in Tallahassee on Feb. 18, 2014. Moffitt Day offers several opportunities to raise awareness of Moffitt's statewide efforts to combat cancer.
Speak Out for Moffitt
Moffitt supporters traveled to Tallahassee on March 13, 2013, to make the case for increased government funding for cancer research. They shared their stories in personal meetings with state legislators. Transportation and meals were provided to all participants, along with a personalized itinerary of meetings with lawmakers, and all the information needed to raise awareness. Cure on Wheels Cyclists Ride from Tampa to Tallahassee
A contingent of cyclists from the Cure on Wheels organization completed a three-day, 300-mile trek in the Florida State Capitol Courtyard at noon on Moffitt Day, March 13, 2013. The mission of the journey – called the Capitol Ride – was to raise funds and awareness for the battle against cancer.
Tampa Bay Rays Manager Joe Maddon shared his support for our 2013 Capitol Ride cyclists. Click here to hear his message.
