American Cancer Society – Institutional Research Grant (ACS-IRG)
Spring 2013, Cycle 33 Pilot Project Grant Program
Submission Deadline: 4:00 p.m., Monday, April 15, 2013

Moffitt Cancer Center is pleased to announce cycle 33 of its ACS-IRG funded by the American Cancer Society.
Applicants may request up to $30,000 for a 12-month project. Current awardees may request a second year of funding (up to $30,000) as a competing renewal.
Only full-time faculty at the Assistant Members/Professors with no active peer-reviewed funding within six years of initial faculty appointment may apply.
Since 1993, the American Cancer Society-Institutional Research Grant (ACS-IRG) has enabled the Moffitt Cancer Center (Moffitt) to fund the cancer-related pilot projects of over 70 junior investigators. The ACS-IRG is a unique source of funding entrusted to Moffitt that provides seed money for young investigators interested in cancer-related research. While the grant is administered at Moffitt, eligible applicants at Moffitt, the University of South Florida (USF) and the Ponce School of Medicine (PSM) may apply.
