Where You Are:

In an effort to recognize Moffitt PDA members for outstanding individual achievement, the PDA Council established a publication award two years ago.  Postdocs are able to submit first author papers published during a specific time period to be considered for the award.  Criteria are as follows:

  • First author papers published between 4/1/2012 and 3/31/2013 will be accepted; evaluation will take place after the deadline.
  • The paper must reflect research done at Moffitt Cancer Center and a pdf of the paper with proof of publication (E-pub is acceptable) should be sent to Dr. Doug Cress, douglas.cress@moffitt.org for evaluation.
  • Papers will be evaluated based on impact factor (ISI scale).
  • In the event of co-first authors, only Moffitt postdoc first authors will be eligible for the award. Should two (or more) Moffitt postdocs be co-first authors, the award will be divided equally among the postdoc authors. Any of the postdoc co-first authors may submit the paper.

There will be an award of $100 each to the four postdocs whose papers have the highest impact factor; deadline for submitting your paper to Dr. Cress is Friday, May 10, 2013.
