In compliance with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requirement that hospitals publicly post a list of their standard charges on the Internet, Moffitt’s chargemaster, which contains the prices of all services, goods and procedures, is available below.

When looking at the chargemaster, please keep in mind that charges are based on individual need and condition, which means total charges, will vary from patient to patient for the same service. The chargemaster information is presented on a per unit basis and is used to generate a patient’s bill. The prices on this list exclude any discounts. The list excludes the amounts charged by physicians for their professional services.

A number of factors such as range of services provided, treatment plan, complexity of the case, severity of illness or other complications impact the items a patient is charged. A patient’s unique condition and treatment requirements also determine the quantity of items charged.

This list shows the price for items based on what the price is the date they were published on the website. As a result, a patient’s bill for hospital services provided on a different date may contain different charges. CMS requires that we publish the chargemaster at least annually.

Hospital chargemasters are lengthy and complex documents. We encourage patients interested in estimating the price of their future care to contact a Financial Counselor at 813-745-7300 or via email at FCUEstimates@moffitt.org. A patient’s financial responsibility will vary based on individual insurance coverage.

At Moffitt, we understand that each patient's situation is unique and we encourage you to contact us if you need assistance.
