I am a Tampa native. Since 1995 I have served as a United States Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court. Prior to that time, I practiced law in Tampa as an Assistant Federal Public Defender and later as a Federal Prosecutor.
I am married with two children.
Moffitt has been an important part of my family’s life recently. In 2002, my father-in-law was diagnosed with lymphoma and was treated at Moffitt. A year later, my wife was also diagnosed with lymphoma and was successfully treated here. She is now in complete remission.
I currently serve on Moffitt’s Lifetime Cancer Screening Board and several of Moffitt’s committees. Moffitt is committed to its patients and their loved ones. The Patient Family Advisory Council is a shining example of its vision for treating cancer.
