Jul 01, 2014

TAMPA, Fla. –Moffitt Cancer Center received the 2013 Corporation of the Year Award from the Central and North Florida Minority Supplier Development Council during their annual awards banquet. The award honors outstanding corporations for their performance and dedication to supplier diversity.
Jack Kolosky, Moffitt chief operating officer, Linda Duchscherer, director of supply chain, Hope Turley, contracts and inventory coordinator, and Desiree Hanson, supplier diversity manager, attended the awards banquet and accepted the award on Moffitt's behalf.
“The center couldn’t have achieved this award without the commitment and effort of the entire Moffitt team, including leadership, Supply Chain, Moffitt Diversity, and every team member,” Hanson said. “We are so proud, it is an extreme honor to be recognized and awarded for our hard work, commitment, and dedication to Supplier Diversity.”
Moffitt also received the same Corporation of the Year Award in 2011. One of Moffitt’s minority-owned I.T. hardware suppliers Zones, Inc., was also recognized with the 2013 Supplier of the Year Award.

The CNFMSDC is a corporate member organization whose primary objective is to help corporations such as Moffitt with their supplier diversity efforts by providing a direct link between corporate America and minority-owned business enterprises
