TAMPA, Fla. — Moffitt Cancer Center announces the appointment of Diane K. Hammon as vice president of Strategic Development. Hammon has been instrumental in developing Moffitt’s strategic plan during the past 15 months as the executive director of Corporate Business Development and Planning. In her new role, she will oversee the execution of key business priorities and develop the framework to implement strategic initiatives and programs.
Hammon will report to Yvette Tremonti
, CPA, executive vice president of Strategy and Business Development.
“Diane’s dedication and vision have been invaluable to Moffitt for the past six years,” Tremonti said. “Working closely with executive leadership, she will help guide the cancer center’s business objectives and direction.”
Hammon will continue to direct Planning and Physician Relations, as well as the development and expansion of the Moffitt Oncology Network, which extends Moffitt’s knowledge and expertise to physicians and providers across the country with the goal of offering the best personalized cancer care. Moffitt is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center based in Florida.
Previously Hammon was the director of Planning and Marketing at UF Health Cancer Center (formerly UF Shands Cancer Center). She received a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and a master’s in Health Administration from University of North Florida. About Moffitt Cancer Cente
