Who: Moffitt Cancer Center, Florida’s only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center
What: “Moffitt Day” recognizes the need for continued legislative support against Florida’s second leading cause of death, cancer.
Open to the public, exhibits will be present in the state capitol plaza and new capitol lobby featuring displays, demonstrations, giveaways and information on the latest advances in cancer research, treatment and prevention.
Speak Out for Moffitt will also host dozens of passionate citizens, survivors, patients and family members from around the state who have been touched by this disease to meet with legislators and speak to the public.
