For many reasons, including the lack of insurance, awareness, access to doctors, etc., there is a growing number of men in our community without access to regular health care services.
The Men’s Health Forum is a shared effort by area hospitals, health care organizations, churches, community organizations, and businesses to provide help to men who are uninsured, under-insured, or do not have a regular health care provider.
In past years, attendees have also had the opportunity to receive wellness check-ups and other testing for diseases such as cholesterol, prostate and colorectal cancers, and HIV/AIDS.
