 Conference Description:
This update in pathology course is aimed at practicing pathologists and trainees and will focus on current challenges in pathology providing an overview of contemporary and emerging technologies that will impact the practice of pathology in the near future. Conference faculty will focus on challenging cases, changing classification systems, and the proper utilization of immunohistochemistry and molecular technologies to improve diagnostic accuracy. There will also be sessions concerning the changing health care system and its potential impact on the practice of pathology.

Target Audience:
This conference is specifically designed for practicing pathologists, including cytopathologists, hematopathologists, dermatopatholgoists, surgical pathologists and other pathologists, oncologists and surgeons, pathology fellows and residents, and other healthcare professionals interested in the field of pathology.

Accreditation:
Physicians can obtain up to 6.75 CME for their participation in this activity.

Registration:
Registration fee includes conference sessions, syllabus materials, CME credit, breakfast, lunch, and breaks for the participant only.  Fees:  $150 for physicians; $80 for Residents & Fellows.

Call for Abstracts/Poster Presentations:
We seek abstracts that describe innovations, practice and research in the field of pathology, and specifically, in the following areas:

•    Clinical practice
•    Molecular Pathology
•    Digital Pathology
•    Education (patient and professional)
•    Evidence-based practice initiatives
•    Leadership and professional issues
•    Quality improvement projects

Individuals with accepted abstracts will receive a $50.00 stipend for their time and effort in presenting a poster. Poster Session will be held throughout the conference day. Pre-set and display information will be made available to all accepted abstracts at a later date. All poster presenters must register for the conference.
