Moffitt Cancer Center has a residency program in radiation oncology. Our residents pursue a four-year program that integrates three-month, site-specific rotations as well as electives in multidisciplinary specialties. We have a formal didactic lecture series with our clinical and physics faculty. In addition, we host medical students on “away” elective rotations as well as students from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. We collaborate with USF medical students who do research projects with our faculty. Moreover, our physics program has a joint Ph.D. program with the USF Department of Physics. In addition to our formal educational and training programs, our faculty are recognized leaders in their respective fields. They lecture nationally and internationally as well as teach national courses.
