Recurrent cancer is cancer that comes back after treatment. It may reappear in the abdomen, or it may become active in other parts of the body if it has metastasized there. Treatment options may include targeted biologic therapy, chemotherapy or palliative care to relieve symptoms, reduce pain and improve comfort. Palliative treatments can include:

  • Palliative radiation therapy
