Moffitt Clinical Research Network

The Mission of H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute at the University of South Florida is to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer. One step toward accomplishing this mission is the Moffitt Clinical Research Network (MCRN). This network provides an avenue for cancer patients to participate in clinical research close to home by providing physicians in the community and academic centers outside of Moffitt Cancer Center access to Moffitt Investigator Initiated Trials.

This network of physicians receives oversight by the MCRN Medical Director and the Moffitt Executive Vice President of Clinical Investigations. MCRN members must qualify for inclusion through documented experience in clinical research, available infrastructure to conduct trials effectively and appropriately, and level of interest verified by an onsite visit. Continued membership is contingent on acceptable quarterly performance assessments.

In providing novel clinical research to the community and other academic settings the MCRN is taking an active role in Moffitt's mission to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer.
