Volunteers

Moffitt volunteers are all ages and from all walks of life. Many have been touched in some way by cancer and have joined our team to simply "give back" or to help make a difference in the lives of others. Each volunteer who participates in our program contributes to the Moffitt mission, " to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer."
The Volunteer Resources & Employee Services department provides a variety of services to patients, families and staff members.
There are approximately 550 volunteers who work in more than 80 different service areas. The goal of our department is to meet the needs of the Center, ensuring volunteers are well-utilized, appreciated and recognized. Volunteers are kept informed of Moffitt activities through newsletters and educational opportunities.
