Moffitt Cancer Center opened its doors in 1986. Since then, physicians, scientists, researchers and staff have collaborated to transform the lives of thousands of people who have been impacted by cancer.
Today our research is helping unlock the mysteries of cancer, while finding better ways to diagnose, treat and help those in need. Our patient-focused approach identifies the needs of patients and their families and allows doctors to make decisions based on the clinical and biological characteristics of each individual cancer. This approach is proven to improve patient outcomes, as well as access, affordability and quality of care.
The mission of Moffitt Cancer Center is to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer. We are united in this fight, and every day we are getting closer.
